Information about the processing of your personal data



The information below is intended to provide you with an overview of the processing of your personal data and your rights under the provisions of the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What sources and data do we use?

We process the personal data we receive from patients who request health services within the company or from our collaborators who send us medical data of patients who are to receive medical services within our clinic.

Why do we process your data (purpose of processing) and what is the legal basis?

We process personal data in accordance with the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), as well as in accordance with other relevant local laws (e.g. occupational health legislation, and others, as applicable).

We need your medical history and other investigations (dental impressions, intra- and extra-oral photographs, x-rays and CT scans) to be able to make a diagnosis and a personalized treatment plan taking into account all this information.

The purposes for which we store and process personal data concerning you.

Your data will be stored in the local database and can be consulted by the medical team that participates in establishing the diagnosis and performing medical treatments within the clinic.

Sometimes, part of this information (name and surname, dental impressions, intra- and extra-oral photographs) is also sent to dental laboratories in Romania, with which our clinic collaborates to carry out prosthetic works.

What can happen if you don’t provide us with your data?

You are not obliged to provide us with the personal data we have mentioned in this document. However, if you do not provide us with the data mentioned in this information it will not be possible for us to provide you with the services you request.

How long will your data be stored?

We will delete your personal information after the purposes for which it was requested have been fulfilled. Your personal data will be stored for as long as we are required to do so by domestic law. This exception to data storage results from local legal obligations (for example: legal notices regarding the retention of medical records).

What are your rights regarding data protection?

You can request information about the processing of personal data through the Data Protection Officer. Any data subject has the following rights, as provided for in the Personal Data Protection Regulation (art. 15 – 18 and 21 GDPR):

  • Information and access to personal data;

You have the right to obtain access to your data that we process or control or to copies thereof; you also have the right to obtain from us information regarding the nature, processing and disclosure of such data.

  • Right to data rectification.

You have the right to obtain rectification of inaccuracies in your data that we process or control.

  • The right to erasure of data (“right to be forgotten”).

You have the right to obtain from us the deletion of your data that we process or control.

  • The right to restriction of data processing.

You have the right to restrict the processing of your data that we process or control.

  • The right to object.

You have the right to object to the processing of your data by us or on our behalf.

  • Right to data portability.

You have the right to obtain the transfer to another controller of your data that we process or control.

  • The right to withdraw consent.

In situations where we process your data based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent; you can do so at any time, at least as easily as you initially granted us your consent; the withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of the processing of your data that we carried out before the withdrawal. The withdrawal is made under the same conditions as the granting of it.

  • The right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority regarding the processing of your data by us or on our behalf.

Recipients of an objection

For objections, in your capacity as data subjects (provided for by Regulation 679/2016), regarding the personal data that SC Liren DG Impex SRL processes, you can address the Officer Responsible for Processing Personal Data within SC Liren DG Impex SRL, the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for the Processing of Personal Data, or the competent courts.

To address an objection to SC Liren DG Impex SRL, please mention “Objection” as the subject and mention your name, address and date of birth.
